Los Angeles - Lupita Nyong'o's stolen Academy Awards dress was thrown over the hotel balcony.

It has remained a mystery to police how the custom Calvin Klein gown wore by the 12 Years A Slave star was taken from her hotel room after the Oscars last Sunday night but the thief has since revealed that they took the dress and threw it over her balcony to another person, gossip website TMZ reports.
