Cape Town – Let’s be honest, we’ve all thought about sliding into Michael B. Jordan’s DMs and well, it seems like it would totally pay off!
Sylvia Wilson is a 21-year-old student at Temple University who bravely slid into Michael’s DMs when she found out he was filming a movie on her campus.
Sylvia simply offered to buy the Black Panther actor a smoothie in return for a photo of him and she got way more… without having to buy him anything!
“It was hot, and I didn’t think it’d be appropriate to ask to buy him a drink, so I opted for a smoothie,” Sylvia told Buzzfeed in a recent interview.
After a bit of back-and-forth over Instagram messenger, Michael invited Sylvia to the set to get a snap and it was everything we could imagine it would be!
“He was so sweet and nice. He was more than happy to take pictures with me and my friends that came with me!”

Sylvia went into so much detail describing the hunky actor, she even shared that “he smelled like Mahogany Teakwood from Bath & Body Works but better.”
Since posting the results of her gutsy DM, Sylvia has garnered a lot of praise on social media even having the move named after her – “Getting a pic with a fave is now known as pulling a sylvia,” one commenter wrote.
