'All Jessica Alba wanted to do is sell baby wipes and multi-vitamins and y’all can’t let her breathe'

Cape Town – Of all the people in the world, someone took it upon themselves to hack the Twitter account of someone so sweet she played the role of Honey Daniels. A celeb who’s been out of the spotlight for so long she gave new meaning to the title Invisible Woman. A wife and mother who’s just outchea trying to make an honest living selling her organic moisturisers. Yup, that’s right – someone hacked Jessica Alba’s Twitter account this weekend, but the Internet’s not having any of it.

After a series of homophobic, ableist and racist slurs on Sunday morning, Jessica Alba started trending on Twitter. She eventually took back control of her account and deleted all the tweets, but it wasn’t until much later in the day. But it’s no matter.

Even though the actress was probably fast asleep in what must have been the middle of the night in the US, many of her fans came to her defense and knew full well it couldn’t be Sue in the middle of this storm.

“Jessica Alba did not carry the entire Fantastic Four franchise on her back to get hacked in her sleep while she was just trying to sell us multi-vitamins,” commented one user, another added, “All Jessica Alba wanted to do is sell baby wipes and multi-vitamins and y’all can’t let her breathe.”
