Cape Town - There seems to have been as many Hollywood couples who’ve headed for Splitsville so far this year as there’ve been celebrity engagements.
We take a look at some of the most heartbreaking.
Model Irina Shayk and actor Bradley Cooper
Us Weekly confirmed earlier this month the couple had ended their four-year relationship.
It reportedly had nothing to do with those nagging Lady Gaga rumours – they just couldn’t work out their differences.
Shortly after news of the split broke, Irina was seen leaving their house with a suitcase, supposedly on her way to LAX.
The couple share a two-year-old daughter, Lea De Seine.
Model Kendall Jenner and basketball player Ben Simmons
Following a split in September last year, after four months together, the couple called it quits for the second time in May this year.
"It wasn’t so sudden. Things have wound down between them. They aren’t seeing each other anymore," a source said at the time.
Model Bella Thorne and rapper Mod Sun
Bella announced in an Instagram post that the couple had broken up after a year together, Women’s Health reports.
"I’ll always love you. All good things must come to an end," she captioned a picture of them.
Singer Adele and charity organisation CEO Simon Konecki
After two years of marriage, Adele and Simon, who share son Angelo (6), announced in a statement in April that they were going their separate ways.
"Adele and her partner have separated," a rep said. "They’re committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always, they ask for privacy. There’ll be no further comment."
Singer Demi Lovato and fashion designer Henry Levy
Following her stay in rehab for her mental health, Demi reportedly called off her relationship with Henry.
A source told E! News the singer exited the three-month relationship to focus on herself.
Actress Kate Beckinsale and comedian Pete Davidson
Their long-distance relationship ended after just four months together. The couple were first spotted together in January, three months after Pete’s engagement to Ariana Grande was called off, Women’s Health writes.
