Cape Town - When Amal Clooney got word that George had been involved in a motorcycle accident on the Italian island of Sardinia recently, she immediately rushed to be by her husband’s side.

The Hollywood actor was headed to a film set on 10 July when his motorbike was hit by a car.

George (57) was taken to hospital following the crash, but according to local media, his injuries weren’t serious.

According to People, the star’s wife Amal (40) rushed to his bedside as soon as she heard about the accident.

And for several days, even after George had been released from the local hospital with non-fatal injuries, Amal remained by his side.

“Amal wouldn’t leave his side. It was obvious that she was concerned,” the source told the magazine.
