Cape Town – Amy Schumer and Emily Ratajkowski were reportedly detained while protesting Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
The comedian and model/actress were among 300 people arrested on Thursday at the US Senate building, CNN reported.
A screengrab shared on Twitter by MSNBC shows Amy and Emily standing against an outside wall with a group of people with police officers standing in front of them.

Another video shared on the social media platform by Daily Caller reporter, Benny Johnson shows police herding a large group of people, including the Trainwreck star, towards an enclosed area. The officer can be heard asking Amy if she wants to be arrested, to which she responds, “yes!”

Taking to Instagram with a photo of herself protesting, Emily wrote: “I was arrested protesting the Supreme Court nomination of Brett Kavanaugh, a man who has been accused by multiple women of sexual assault. Men who hurt women can no longer be placed in positions of power.”

In the video Amy says: “I'm here with your mom. She loves you very much. I think we're gonna get arrested, and we're so proud of you.”

According to E! News there is no record of an arrest of neither Amy nor Emily.
