Cape Town – Anderson Cooper has confirmed he and Benjamin Maisani have broken up after nine years together.
A spokesperson for the CNN host said in a statement to the Daily Mail, he and NYC nightclub mogul called it quits some time ago but remain close friends.
“Benjamin and I separated as boyfriends some time ago. We are still family to each other, and love each other very much. We remain the best of friends, and will continue to share much of our lives together.”
According to E! News, Anderson’s comments come after photos of him and he Dallas radiologist Victor Lopez appeared on the latter’s Instagram account, which is private.
The Daily Mail further reported that the former couple still appear to be living together and were spotted leaving their Manhattan home earlier this week.
