TV personality Andy Cohen announced in an Instagram post on Friday that he tested positive for coronavirus.

Andy is the host and executive producer of Bravo's late night talk show, Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

He also has a pop culture channel on SiriusXM Radio titled Radio Andy, and hosts a two-hour live show with co-host John Hill twice a week.

He wrote on Instagram: "After a few days of self-quarantine, and not feeling great, I have tested positive for Coronavirus"

Posting a selfie, he added: "As much as I felt like I could push through whatever I was feeling to do #WWHL from home, we're putting a pin in that for now so I can focus on getting better."

In the post, he also thanked medical professionals for their work throughout the pandemic and urged people to stay at home and practice social distancing.

Celebrities all over the world are using their platforms to share the importance of self-isolation as the coronavirus continues to spread.
