Cape Town - Angelina Jolie hasn’t had the easiest ride over the past few years and has admitted to not feeling very strong amid her difficult divorce from Brad Pitt.
The 44-year-old actress appeared on the red carpet for Disney’s D23 Expo in California on Saturday, Inquisitr reports.
Speaking to an E! News reporter, the star opened up about her life.
"I’m like everybody and... especially these past few years haven’t been the easiest, and I haven’t felt very strong," she said.
"There’s something when you’re not feeling very strong, where you push yourself."
In the midst of their divorce, Angie and Brad have battled in court over custody of their six children, Metro UK reports.
The Oscar winner also recently fought back tears as her eldest child, Maddox (18), went off to university in South Korea.
"I know, I’m trying not to cry," she told onlookers at Yonsei University in Seoul.
The star will be playing the much anticipated role of Thena in Marvel’s Eternals and will also star in the sequel Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.
"I’m so grateful that I have the opportunity to play these kinds of characters that pull out every bit of strength I have and remind me that I can be strong," she said.
"Sometimes you really feel low and you gotta pull it back up."
