Angelina Jolie hires a new divorce lawyer

Cape Town – Angelina Jolie has reportedly parted ways with divorce attorney Laura Wasser and has now hired Samantha Bley DeJean.

Spokesperson for the actress/director/activist, Mindy Nyby, confirmed to E! News: “Angelina decided to change counsel to Samantha Bley DeJean of Bley and Bley, as Samantha's expertise is the protection and best interests of children.”

Angie’s case was reportedly transitioned over to Samantha over the last month as the mom-of-six has come to rely on the attorney’s council.

According to Us Weekly, Angie’s shift comes with her kids and their relationship with their father in mind.

“Angelina remains focused on healing her family. She continues to support the reconciliation of the children with Brad.”

The news of Samantha’s takeover comes after Brad and Angie reached a temporary custody agreement ahead of a scheduled custody hearing in August.

This comes after Angie put in a request for a case-management hearing earlier this month, claiming that Brad “has paid no meaningful child support” since their split.
