Cape Town – Rooney Mara and Joaquin Phoenix have fans convinced they are engaged to be married.
A photo, obtained by People, shows the Lion actress running errands in Los Angeles wearing a diamond ring on THAT finger.
A rep for both Rooney and Joaquin declined to comment on the state of their relationship when asked by the publication.

While the couple have kept their relationship out of the spotlight, they have been romantically linked since filming Mary Magdalene in late 2016.
Rooney and Joaquin continued to fuel rumours after they were spotted on a wellness retreat together in early 2017, E! News reports.
The stars appeared to confirm their relationship when they showed up hand-in-hand to the Cannes Film Festival’s closing night in May 2017.
