Cape Town - Starting a new relationship can be the most exciting thing in the world. Everything feels so new and electrifying – and it’s not different for celebrities. After all, they’re people too.

Pop princess Ariana Grande (25) posted a black-and-white pic of herself and fiancé, comedian Pete Davidson (24), on Friday in which the two are snuggled up in bed. She captioned the post “my baaaaaby loves me”, People reports.

Pete, a star of the show Saturday Night Live, commented that he loves her “more than anything”, Ariana bluntly responded by saying, “@petedavidson we’re annoying as f***.”

The couple – who last month announced their engagement after a whirlwind romance – have been melting our hearts with their loved-up social-media posts.

Ariana recently defended her relationship with the comedian and spoke about her decision to name one of the songs on her upcoming album after him, US Weekly reports.

“He’s my fiancé. This is my album. I’m an honest and emotional artist and human being and if my openness in my work isn’t for you, that’s OK,” she said.

“I won’t be offended. Still wishing y’all all the love in the world.”

Jon Mesa, Pete’s tattoo artist, talked to Page Six in May about the comedian’s love for Ariana.

“They’re just riding that magical wave of bliss together,” he said. “It’s obvious that Pete is super in love with Ariana.”

Jon also admitted that he warned the besotted comedian about getting any more girlfriend tattoos after he had to do a huge cover-up of an inking the 24-year-old had of former bae, Cazzie David.

“So I did a huge cover-up [adding a forest of trees]. After we were done, I told Pete, ‘Hey, dude, let’s just stop with the girlfriend tats until after she’s [Grande becomes] your wife’,” he added.
