Cape Town - It’s been two months since the death of Mac Miller, and Ariana Grande is struggling to come to grips with his passing.

The God is a Woman singer posted more mournful words dedicated to her former beau on Tuesday, 6 November, after a fan posted a throwback video on Twitter of Mac listening to the 25-year-old’s song, R.E.M. Pop culture writes.

"Hey @ArianaGrande here’s a video of @MacMiller listening to R.E.M during his Instagram live from August 9th before it was released. We had to stan the best song from Sweetener!" The post was captioned.

Ariana responded sadly to the post, writing" "He’s supposed to be here."

In the video, the rapper is seen interacting with his followers and replying to questions that come up on his screen, E! News reports.

"So, is this technically, is this promoting the album?" he asked. "Is that what I'm doing? Because if so, it's a pretty solid way," he’s heard saying in the clip.

"It's pretty easy. I'm just on my way to have a good time," he added.

Mac Miller died on 7 September in his California home after an accidental drug overdose, People magazine reports.
