Cape Town - Is she bi? This is the question on many of Ariana Grande’s fans lips thanks to the release of her new song, Monopoly.

In the track, which also features Ari’s friend and openly bisexual singer, Victoria Monét (25), she sings, “I like women and men (Yeah) / Work so f**kin’ much, need a twinny, twin, twin / You’d be straight for life if I gave you my pin (Yeah) / Even though we gave up that 90% for the win, oh.”

The accompanying video clip, which was released on Monday, also sees the two singers dressed in pink standing outside bathrooms both labelled “men”.

Twitter erupted as fans shared their thoughts. "Ari could possibly be bi and if she is, bitch, I’m legal . . . hello," wrote one, sharing the sentiments of many.

But it was only after one follower tweeted, "Ariana ain’t gotta label herself, but she said what she said," that the pop star responded. "I haven’t before and still don’t feel the need to now," she wrote, before adding, "Which is okay."

Ariana (25), who’s currently single, has only ever publicly dated men. Her exes include US comedian Pete Davidson, rapper Mac Miller, who tragically died last year, as well as rapper Big Sean.

She’s however long been a supporter of the LGBT community and her brother, Frankie Grande (36), a well-known dancer and YouTube personality, is openly gay.
