Ariana Grande’s latest Twitter chat with Camila Cabello hints at her engagement

Cape Town – Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson are reportedly engaged, and a recent Twitter conversation may have confirmed it.

Not only has John Legend, who worked with Ariana on the Beauty and the Beast live-action remake soundtrack, congratulated her on the rumoured engagement but the No Tears Left To Cry hitmaker may have confirmed it on Twitter, too.

Shortly after engagement reports broke, Ariana tweeted Camila Cabello saying that they need to talk.

Sure, it may seem like just a random tweet, but then it dawned on us that Ariana and Camilla have long referred to one another as “my wife”.

Now, if the engagement rumours are true then it means that Ariana and Camila do need to have a conversation about their fictional marriage.

And so they did.

The two musos proceeded to discuss the custody of their fictional kids, cannoli and dogs. An agreement has not yet been reached.

Meanwhile, the diamond ring Ariana has been wearing on that finger recently was custom made just for her.

According to E! News, Greg Yuna - the jeweller who designed the pop star's ring – says Pete came to him with the design “about a month ago,” which is around the same time the couple were first rumoured to be dating.

“Pete called me at the end of May and said 'Look, I'm getting a ring. This is what I want.' And I told him that I had the right ring for him. He didn't tell me who it was for but told me to keep it a secret. He didn't tell me anything about it,” Greg told E!.

The jewellery item cost a whopping $93 000 (R1 244 737,11) and took two weeks to complete.

Ariana was first spotted wearing the ring at the 2018 iHeartRadio Wango Tango by AT&T on 2 June and again while celebrating her mom Joan’s birthday over the weekend.
