Cape Town - Model sisters Gigi (24) and Bella Hadid (22) won’t be vacationing in Greece again anytime soon.
The pair were left shaken after the rented holiday home in Mykonos, in which they were staying with a few friends, was ransacked and their clothes as well as jewellery were stolen, according to The Independent.
Taking to her photography Instagram page, Gigi revealed that she was “never going back” and “wouldn’t recommend” that anyone else travel to the popular holiday destination.
“Spend your money elsewhere,” the model said in her post.
Fortunately, the incident took place while they were out but the sisters decided to cut short their trip anyway.
Speaking to TMZ, their father, Mohamed Hadid, revealed that Gigi frantically called him after the incident.
“[Gigi] called me at the airport when she was taking off. She was traumatised,” he said.
“They were out; they had their bodyguard with them. They got robbed – the house was broken into,” the 70-year-old said.
“Nobody hurt her, thank God.”
Metro reported that the runway stars were in Mykonos to celebrate their older sister Alana’s birthday.
