After recently reaching the 40-day mark in the treatment facility, Ben released a statement via Instagram pertaining to his current well-being.
“This week I completed a forty day stay at a treatment centre for alcohol addiction and remain in outpatient care,” Ben wrote.
“The support I have received from my family, colleagues and fans means more to me than I can say. It's given me the strength and support to speak about my illness with others,” he continues, adding: “Battling any addiction is a lifelong and difficult struggle. Because of that, one is never really in or out of treatment.”
Ben went on to explain that he is fighting for himself and his family, and shared words of encouragement to those who may be going through the same.
