Stars gathered at Staples Center in Los Angeles on Monday to honour basketball great, Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna.
The two died, along with seven other people, in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California on Sunday, 26 January.
"God knew they couldn't be on this Earth without each other. He had to bring them home to have them together," Kobe's wife, Vanessa said, in a teary eulogy to a filled stadium of fans and loved ones, reports People.
Many athletes and celebs came out to support Vanessa and her three girls, Natalia, Bianka and Capri. Shaquille O'Neal, Michael Jordan and Jimmy Kimmel all gave touching speeches, while Christina Aguilera performed Ave Maria, Alicia Keys played Moonlight Sonata on the piano because Kobe wanted to learn to play it for Vanessa, reports Billboard, and Beyoncé sang her hits XO - which was one of Kobe's favourite songs - and Halo.

Bey later honoured Kobe in another very special way, uploading a series of photographs of her performance and rehearsals on her website. In one shot she wears a Lakers jersey, in another, the camera focuses on two jerseys in the distance with the numbers 8 and 24 on them.
