Brad and Jen's public reunion at The SAG Awards is what we've all been waiting for!

Cape Town – SAG Award winners Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston had a public reunion at the star-studded event on Sunday night.

It all started during the show, as Brad accepted his award for Outstanding Performance by A Male Actor in a Supporting Role for Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood.

During his speech, he joked: "Let's be honest, it was a difficult part. The guy who gets high takes his shirt off and doesn't get on with his wife. It's a big stretch. Big."

The camera then cut to Jennifer – who also won in the category Female Actor in a Drama Series for her role in The Morning Show – as she clapped at the humorous remark.

Then the actress accepted her award, Brad watched from backstage and got emotional.

Then the two were photographed exchanging hellos backstage and the internet erupted.

Brad and Jennifer were married for five years from 2000-2005 and have since remained friends, reuniting in private at parties.
