Cape Town - The Ad Astra star recently got candid on being a father-of-six.
Brad Pitt, who plays an astronaut on a mission to find his missing father in his latest film, recently reflected on how his character relates to his real-life as a father, CNN reports.

Speaking in an interview about the movie, the Hollywood A-lister opened up about his own relationship with his father as well as his relationship with his six children that he shares with ex-wife, Angelina Jolie.
"My dad always said he wanted to give me a better life than he had coming from extreme poverty, and he did it," he said, adding that his character Roy McBride, has forced him to reflect on fatherhood.
"And it makes me think, as a dad, what do I have to offer that’s better than I had to my kids?"
The 55-year-old’s eldest son, Maddox Jolie-Pitt, also recently opened up for the first time about his strained relationship with his dad, while Brad also revealed that during his separation from Angelina he turned to alcohol, "to avoid tough feelings, painful feelings," Harper's BAZAAR reports.
