Cardi B confirms she’s pregnant during SNL appearance

Cape Town – Cardi B is expecting her first child with fiancé and Migos member Offset.

After weeks of speculation, the Bodak Yellow hitmaker confirmed she is indeed pregnant by showing off her growing belly during a performance on Saturday Night Live.

According to E! News, Cardi B hid her bump under a voluminous feathered dress for her first performance on the show.

She later changed into a tight-fitting white dress.

The confirmation comes after weeks of trying to keep the news under wraps.

In February, Cardi B shot down pregnancy rumours replying to a fan’s comment on a video she shared on Instagram.

The fan wrote: “Is there maybe a Kylie Jenner secret that we need to know about lol Just asking?”

Cardi B then responded, saying: “No bitch I'm just getting fat. Let me fat in peace, [sic]”

Cardi B took hiding her growing bump a step further on at the E11EVEN Miami club on Friday night, wearing a loose-fitting, billowy and ruffled pink and red metallic dress.

The outfit caused even more speculation of what has now been confirmed to be true.

Offset, 26, already has three children from previous relationships.

He too denied the possibility of Cardi B being pregnant in February. The rapper told TMZ: “I’m already a father-of-three. I don’t know what you’re talking about. My kids [are] 2, 2 and 8. I don’t got no other possibilities.”

The rapper has since confirmed the news on Twitter and Instagram saying he and Cardi B are looking forward to their next chapter together.
