LOS ANGELES, CA - JULY 17: Cardi B and Offset are

Cape Town – Cardi B has returned to court and is hoping to stop the release of her taped deposition and private text messages with Offset, in a $30 million lawsuit.

The Press rapper fears the release will result in a social media storm. "The public release of any video of Ms Almanzar’s deposition, poses a significant risk of harm and misuse of social media platforms because it is highly likely that any such video will be reproduced and edited (and possibly manipulated) into out-of-context video clips and GIFs of her testimony," read court documents obtained by The Blast.

"Any such video clips are likely to be widely posted on YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter and remain available through trial in this case. Such dissemination would be an egregious and prejudicial invasion of Ms Almanzar’s privacy and could significantly affect the available jury pool."

Cardi seems to have very specific ideas of what may come up in the deposition and hopes to keep it sealed from the public.
