- Carole Baskin has assumed ownership of arch-rival, Joe Exotic's zoo after it was found to have been fraudulently transferred to his mother years ago.
- Jeff Lowe, another of Joe's notorious enemies, has been running the zoo since Joe's been incarcerated for hiring someone to kill Carole Baskin.
- Now, Jeff has 120 days to vacate the property and hand everything over to Big Cat Rescue Corp – Carole's animal rescue sanctuary.
And the plot thickens...
On Monday Fox 25 reported that Judge Scott Palk ordered the G.W. Exotic Animal Memorial Park in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, which once belonged to Joseph Maldonado-Passage, aka, Joe Exotic, be handed over to Big Cat Rescue Corp – Carole Baskin's animal rescue sanctuary.

The Netflix docu-series follows Joe Exotic, the owner of a zoo in Oklahoma with an unhealthy obsession with animal right activist, Carole Baskin. We're talking so unhealthy that the zoo owner, now prison inmate, eventually hired a hitman to kill his arch-rival. He's currently serving a 22-year-sentence for the murder-to-hire plot, as well as several animal rights violations.
Jeff Lowe, a friend turned enemy, took over the running of Joe's zoo, but has now been given 120 days to vacate the property.
Further, all buildings and vehicles must also be handed over to Carole Baskin and Big Cat Rescue.
Carole and the sanctuary were handed over the property after it was found to have been fraudulently transferred to Joe's mother, Shirley M. Schreibvogel.
It seems the transfer couldn't have come at a better time as Tiger King filmmakers recently revealed the zoo is struggling under Jeff Lowe's control.
Eric Goode told Entertainment Weekly: "All I can tell you is that he [Jeff Lowe] is basically operating on fumes. No one is going now and there's no source of income, and that's been going on for a long time. It's not something that has just happened because of what's happening in the world today."
He added: "I think that it's very sad what's happening to these animals. And it's anyone's guess as to what's going to happen to them. Some will be placed but I would suspect a lot of them will die from starvation, and probably be put down."
Meanwhile, Joe is currently still at a medical centre after the prison he was at reported several cases of Covid-19.
