Cape Town - We’ve all had our fandom moments.
But one particular Channing Tatum fan went overboard when she allegedly broke into the actor’s Hollywood home and stayed there for 10 days.
According to court documents obtained by E! News, the actor has since been granted a restraining order by the Los Angeles County courthouse against the woman identified as Chantal.
"The conduct of respondent is very alarming to me, and also very annoying," Channing wrote in the documents.
The Magic Mike actor further revealed that this was not the first encounter he had with the stalker-fan.
"To know that a complete stranger, who last year came to my home uninvited and unannounced, recently broke into my home and pretended to be staying there causes me significant concern for the safety of my family and myself, as well as emotional distress,” he wrote.
According to The Blast, the woman was found trespassing in Channing’s home by his assistant, on 24 June and placed under citizen arrest.
While the Dear John star was granted the restraining order, which included protection for his daughter Everly, ex-wife Jenna Dewan and two assistants, it remains unclear if his girlfriend Jessie J has also been included.
The stalker is required to stay 100 yards (91 meters) away from the actor and his family, TMZ reports.
