Charlize Theron defends woman after show host kisses her without consent

Cape Town – Charlize Theron has no time for men doing things without consent.

The South African beauty was promoting her latest movie, Long Shot, with co-star Seth Rogen on live French TV show Touche pas à mon poste when she underlined an important point about consent.

A clip shared on Twitter shows Charlize calling out the TV presenter for thinking it was acceptable to kiss a female interpreter without first asking permission.

The video shows presenter Cyril Hanouna approaching the interpreter who's name is Nadia - who is standing next to Charlize – and then kissing her on the cheek.

With both women visibly uncomfortable by the situation, Charlize then says: "Oh wow... maybe ask next time?"

Twitter users praised the actress for calling the presenter out, who has reportedly shown problematic behaviour in the past.

According to Independent UK, Hanouna faced backlash in 2017 for posting a fake advertisement on a gay dating site and then mocking respondents on air.
