Cape Town - Chris Pratt (39) delivered a touching tribute to his fiancée, Katherine Schwarzenegger, at her bridal shower this weekend, with more than 100 guests in attendance.

The 29-year-old daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger enjoyed a star-studded bridal shower, hosted at the Brentwood, Los Angeles, home of her mother, journalist Maria Shriver, on Saturday with A-list guests such as Oprah Winfrey, ELLE reports.

According to insiders, Katherine looked stunning in a long form-fitting white dress but it was the Hollywood star’s sweet toast to his bride-to-be that truly stole the show.

"Katherine lit up when Chris arrived," a source told People.

"He also gave a sweet toast. They were adorable together and he wanted her to have all the attention."

The pair, who were first romantically linked when they were spotted out for a picnic date on Father’s Day last year, announced their engagement in January.

The Daily Mail reports that Katherine’s mom, Maria, went all out for her daughter’s shower.

"There were fun games and a flower station where guests could make arrangements, and a gospel choir sang several songs," a source said.

Maria also gave a speech about how her daughter was born to love and be loved, telling everyone the way Chris treats Katherine takes her breath away.

According to an insider, the lovebirds will have an intimate wedding – choosing to keep their nuptials small rather than having a big affair.

"Chris and Katherine’s wedding will be a very intimate affair with just their closest loved ones," the source said.

"They don’t want it to be a circus. The focus will be their commitment to each other, and God will play a very large role on their big day. It’s been such a special time not just for them, but also for their families. Everyone is so excited."
