Cape Town - Actor Chris Pratt (39) shocked fans when he and his wife, actress Anna Faris (41), announced they were divorcing last year.
And now it seems the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom star is getting serious with his new girlfriend, self-help author Katherine Schwarzenegger (28), who’s the eldest daughter of actor and politician Arnold Schwarzenegger (71) and his estranged wife, journalist Maria Shriver (62).
Chris and Katherine were seen taking Chris and Anna’s five-year-old son, Jack, out for a frozen yoghurt in Los Angeles.
Earlier the pair had also attended a church service together.
Rumours started swirling they were more than just friends when they were spotted enjoying a picnic together in June. And it seems things have been heating up ever since.
They’ve gone from casual dating to “being almost inseparable when they’re free,” a source told ET.
“Until he knew it was more than just casual, Chris wasn’t introducing Jack to anyone. Chris and Katherine are happy together.”
The two were apparently set up by Katherine’s mom.
“Maria is excited for Katherine. Everyone has their fingers crossed that this is going to work out long term. They think Chris is an amazing guy,” an insider told E!.
“They’re really perfect together and have similar goals and values.”
Chris and Anna announced their split after eight years of marriage last August.
Since then the Mom actress has been romantically linked to cinematographer Michael Barrett (48) after meeting him on the set of the comedy Overboard.
