Colton Haynes officially files for divorce from Jeff Leatham

Cape Town – Colton Haynes and Jeff Leatham are officially separating, after 6 months of marriage.

Days after it was rumoured that the couple split, E! News has confirmed that Colton has officially filed for divorce from the floral designer on Tuesday.

Speculation that the couple called it quits grew after Colton and Jeff seemingly unfollowed each other on social media earlier this month.

The Arrow actor also removed all traces of his soon-to-be ex-husband on Instagram.

According to a source multiple factors caused the deterioration of their relationship, including the death of Colton’s mother in March.

“He realised how isolated he’d been from his friends in the time he needed them most. Their relationship was never as perfect or romantic as they had publicly portrayed,” the source told E! at the time.

In the midst of split rumours, Colton took to Twitter defending Jeff saying that he would “never cheat” and calling him an “amazing man.”

A song called Man It Sucks, which Colton wrote and released two days before the tweet, may also allude to their relationship problems.

“Man it sucks / and I don't like / when you're staying out all / night / and never answer your phone / I follow you around the world / just to feel left alone,” he sings.

Jeff proposed to Colton on the beach at the Las Ventanas al Paraiso in Los Cabos, Mexico, surrounded by lit candles in March last year.

The couple got married in Palm Springs in October, with Kris Jenner officiating the wedding.
