Courteney Cox sent daughter Coco 'I love you' message during in-flight emergency

Cape Town - Courteney Cox revealed that she called her daughter Coco to  tell her she loves her after a wheel fell off a private jet mid-flight.

ICYMI, the Cougar Town actress was on a private flight with her bestie Jennifer Aniston and a group of friends when it was forced to make a emergency landing after it lost a wheel during take-off.

In an interview with Extra - to promote her new Facebook Watch docu-series, 9 Months with Courteney Cox - the 54-year-old opened up about her fears during the incident.

"I'm not afraid of flying at all... my dad was a pilot… but I was really scared, because when we were taking off, we heard this really loud bang and I was like, 'Oh, that sounds like we should probably check that tire.'"

Courteney further revealed they were stuck in the air for four hours before landing, and that she sent her daughter a message as well as kept her fiancé, Johnny McDaid, in the loop about what was going on.

"I sent a little text to Coco, 'I love you,' I didn't say why, and to Johnny…I told him everything that was going on and I FaceTimed him after."
