Criss Angel returns to stage with same stunt that had him hospitalised

Cape Town – Criss Angel returned to the stage a day after a stunt sent him to the emergency room.

The 49-year-old was rushed to hospital on Friday night after falling unconscious while performing his famed upside down straitjacket escape, which involves him being suspended by his feet during his Mindfreak Live! show in Las Vegas.

According to a statement shared on Twitter Criss was released on Saturday morning but still undergoing additional testing.

And according to tweets, Criss returned to the stage that Saturday and performed the stunt that sent him to the emergency room the night before.

NBC reporter Craig Fiegener tweeted: “Magician @CrissAngel returned to stage tonight in #LasVegas, and successfully did his straight jacket escape. (sic)”
