Dax Shepard sent Kristen Bell's mom flirty eggplant emojis...

Kristen Bell is thankful her mom didn't know what an eggplant emoji was – when Dax Shepard accidentally sent it to her!

The Frozen 2 star recalled the moment on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, reports People, when she told the talk show host her mom was coming into town and sent Dax a text.

"[She] sends him a text like, 'Be there by 11,'" Bell explained. "And then sends something else that says, 'Can't wait to see you tonight.' And he meant to respond smiley face, smiley face, smiley face, and instead, he responds eggplant, eggplant, eggplant."

"Thankfully, she didn't know what an eggplant emoji was," Kristen continued to which Ellen responded, "She does now."

Kristen and Dax started dating in 2007 before marrying in 2013. The couple has always been open and honest about their relationship, sharing both the good and the bad.

So although they often tell of the hilarious moments that make up most of their marriage, Kristen also recently spoke about a really bad fight that lasted three days.

Speaking to Justin Long on his podcast, the 39-year-old said, "I don't actually remember what happened, but what transpired was a lot of volume, a lot of harsh words being thrown around, and it was an angry, angry fight about how nobody does anything for anybody else."

"I didn't get an apology, but I got a dog!" she added. "This is so much better than an apology. So I bring the dog home, it's great."
