Dirty thirties: 3 of Rihanna’s most infamous ‘scandals’ to date

Cape Town - The world’s favourite bad girl is celebrating her 30th birthday!

Robyn Rihanna Fenty was born on 20 February in Saint Michael Parish, Barbados, and raised in Bridgetown.

The Love on the Brain singer is more than just a sexy bad girl though - she’s a top-selling make-up mogul, passionate about giving back and education and a style icon.

But not everything about her career has been smooth-sailing; she has earned her “bad girl” reputation for sure.

Here are some her memorable scandals:

1.    When IG banned her.

In 2014, Riri posted topless pictures of herself on Instagram, violating the gram rules to the point where Instagram asked her to take the pictures down.

RiRi took the pictures down and posted them on Twitter then trolled IG with a meme…ON INSTAGRAM!

2.    Rihanna on Drugs?

In 2015, she was suspected to be snorting cocaine at the Coachella Music Festival. After a video of her snorting something quite dodge surfaced online, she dismissed the rumours and, in true Rihanna style, trolled the naysayers with an IG post of herself drinking a Coke cold drink, captioning it “#petty” LOL!

3.    Rihanna and Mr. Titanic together?

Still in 2015, our favourite baddie was rumoured to be dating or having a “thing” with now 43-year-old Titanic actor, Leonardo DiCaprio.

The Fenty Beauty creator reportedly didn’t want Leonardo out of her sight at her birthday bash. In an interview, RiRi slammed the rumours.

She said: "It sounds to me like you should stay away from the blogs because they will screw you every time...I'm so busy right now that I just don't have a lot of time to offer to a man so it wouldn't even be fair to be thinking of pulling somebody else into this life."

YIKES! Whatever is happening in her life though, we can’t help but love her.
