Dolly Parton stopped meetings so men could stare at her boobs

Cape Town - Dolly Parton has admitted she used to let the men in her business meetings gaze at her boobs for "one minute" before they had to give her their full attention for the rest of her pitch.

In an interview with Daily Mail, the country music star revealed that she doesn't blame people for wanting to look but admits she likes to get it out of the way.

"Everybody wants to look. I always understood guys would want to look at my boobs.

"I would say in a business meeting, 'I'll give you a minute to look at these but then I want you to listen to what I have to say because I’m here to make money for all of us'."

Speaking about her views on sexism and the #MeToo movement, Dolly credits her father for teaching her how to make sure she was never put into a situation she couldn't handle.

"It was my daddy who taught me how to handle myself with men, to take responsibility for making sure I never got into a situation I couldn’t handle...

"It’s just saying let’s all be treated equally. I’ve built my own business, I own all my songs. I’ve never had to do anything I didn’t want to do and so much of that is down to what my daddy taught me."
