Donald Trump and Chrissy Teigen had words – again – and this time John Legend and everyone on Twitter got involved too

Cape Town – It’s the longest feud in Twitter history. The Twitter feud that makes all other Twitter feuds pale in comparison. And with a thread of new tweets the Donald Trump and Chrissy Teigen fight continues – and the Lip Sync Battle host is not letting the John Legend’s "filthy mouthed wife" comment slide.

Yup – on Sunday POTUS tweeted about criminal justice reform, according to E! News, and how people, including "@johnlegend" and "his filthy mouthed wife" are only now talking about the laws he’s responsible for passing. Trump was referring to a televised MSNBC special on the night which saw a number of public figures comment on prison reform.

But Chrissy rebuked, saying she didn’t even speak in the special, and in a thread of tweets of her own called Trump out for being a "pussy ass bitch".

A few users also came to Chrissy’s defense, making light of the situation.

John Legend weighed in, defending his wife.

"Imagine being president of a whole country and spending your Sunday night hate-watching MSNBC hoping somebody--ANYBODY--will praise you," he tweeted. "Melania, please praise this man. He needs you."

If you ask us, the Teigen-Legends family won this one.

Shortly after #FilthyMouthedWife started trending on Twitter, so too did "#PresidentP---yAssBitch" after a tweet from Ellen DeGeneres' producer Andy Lassner.

And surely enough, soon after, Twitter had their work cut out for them.
