Dwayne Johnson explains his meaningful philosophy in poetic post

Cape Town – The Wall Street Journal is giving Dwayne Johnson’s muscles a break to focus on his hands.

Dwayne shared on Instagram on Monday that in a "career first", the magazine will focus their story on the scars and bruises – the anchors that serve as "roadmaps" of his "life’s journey".

Explaining his "two-hand philosophy", he put it beautifully to his 157 million followers:

"It’s my ideology that we can’t control everything, but we can always control our effort and the hard work we’re willing to put in with our own two hands. My paws are scarred, broken knuckles and calloused all from football, wild pro wrestling matches, dumb fights and hitting the iron daily.

"But my hands also serve as my two anchoring roadmaps of my life’s journey – successes, failures, protection, love and everything in between."

Was a cool surprise when I found out The Wall Street Journal Magazine wanted to focus their story on my hands - a career first. My two hand philosophy. It’s my ideology that we can can’t control everything, but we can always control our effort and the hard work we’re willing to put in with our own two hands. My paws????????are scarred, broken knuckles and calloused all from football, wild pro wrestling matches, dumb fights????‍?? and hitting the iron daily. But my hands also serve as my two anchoring roadmaps of my life’s journey - successes, failures, protection, love and everything in between. Thanks @wsjmag for the surprising and very cool inroad you took to go deeper to understand what’s behind these ol’ f*cked up callouses. Fun shoot. Thanks again. #twohandphilosophy #wallstreetjournalmagazine This December.

The feature will appear in the December issue of the Wall Street Journal and according to the Hobbs & Shaw actor, will "go deeper to understand what’s behind these ol’ f*cked up callouses".
