Eddie Redmayne puts those Taylor Swift dating rumours to rest

Los Angeles - Eddie Redmayne had a "big moment" when he sang with Taylor Swift.

The 34-year-old actor - who has five-month-old daughter Iris with wife Hannah Bagshawe - has laughed off rumours he and the Blank Space singer dated in 2011, but he did admit to being impressed by her when she auditioned for a role in Les Miserables.

Asked by a caller on Watch What Happens Live if he could put "rumours to rest" and confirm if he'd dated Taylor, he replied: "I absolutely can put the rumours to rest. I never went out on a date with Taylor Swift. Although, I met Taylor Swift...

"She was amazing in the audition for Les Miserables. So we got to sing together, which was a big moment for me. But, no, we never went out."
