Eminem reveals he uses Tinder and Grindr to find dates

The Lose Yourself hitmaker revealed that while he isn’t currently dating he does use Tinder, Grindr and even strip clubs to find dates.

“It’s tough. Since my divorce I’ve had a few dates and nothing’s panned out in a way that I wanted to make it public. Dating’s just not where I’m at lately…

“[I use] Tinder and Grindr. I also used to go to strip clubs. It was an interesting time for me.”

Eminem has for years been criticised for being misogynistic and homophobic in the lyrics of his music, however the rapper says it was all in retaliation to the criticism he was receiving.

“The first time I got a taste of being called anti-gay was on My Name Is… All I was saying was I don’t swing that way. So, when I started getting flack for it, I thought, ‘Alright, you people think I’m homophobic? Watch this.’ Hence the Ken Kaniff character and all that stuff.

“I was trying to push the buttons of people who were calling me something that I wasn’t.”

Eminem admits that perhaps he did “take it too far sometimes” however added that the music he used to make back when he was doing open mics he made to get a reaction out of people, which eventually morphed into the music on his albums.
