Fan arrested for camping in Lana Del Rey's garage

Los Angeles - A Lana Del Rey fan has been arrested after he was reportedly found living in the singer's garage.

The man was discovered camping in the garage of the 30-year-old singer's Malibu home, which is currently under construction, and police said it was evident from notes he had written that he was obsessed with Lana.

A Malibu/Lost Hills detective told Entertainment Tonight: "Based on ramblings in his notes, he was clearly infatuated with Lana."

Police added that he believed he had a "spiritual connection" with Lana.

He was reported by a construction worker but disappeared before police arrived.

However, the 19-year-old white male was found in nearby Santa Monica and arrested.

Ironically, Lana reportedly bought the three bed, four bath beachfront property in order to get some privacy from overzealous fans.

She previously lived in the Hancock Park area of Los Angeles but had been bothered by admirers camping out in her street and even attempting to come into her backyard.

She is believed to have paid $3m for her Malibu home.
