Cape Town – Gabrielle Union has no time for people who identify her just as ‘Dwyane Wade’s wife’ and we are here for it!
The TV and movie actress, activist and author called out a news site on Twitter on Monday after they referred to her just as ‘Dwyane Wade’s wife’ in an article about her and her basketball player husband’s donation to a student-run gun control rally.

Now, of course, Gabrielle is indeed married to Dwyane and they are the cutest couple ever but, the 45-year-old is way more than that too!
Included in her long list of accolades Gabrielle has appeared in prominent TV shows and movies including Bring It On, Think Like a Man and Being Mary Jane during her 25-year career.
She also released her first book in 2017, titled We're Going to Need More Wine: Stories That Are Funny, Complicated, and True.
Dwyane followed-up Gabrielle’s tweet by providing her full name.

And after fans jumped on the band wagon, setting the news site straight, they issued an apology tweet acknowledging their mistake.
The site then sent out another tweet with a corrected headline.
