Cape Town - Can we just talk about how awesome Gayle King is for a second?
The talk-show host and Oprah’s bestie posted a series of selfies recreating her 23-year-old niece, Mekenzye’s sexy Instagram shots.
In one the 64-year-old can be seen in a striped costume lounging next to the ocean; in another she walks along a sandy path in a blue, frilled one-piece.
Copying her joke from last year she captioned the series, "Tradition continues", adding that she was doing a photoshoot with her "fav niece" in Mexico.
The photos were hit – raking in over 500 comments in a few hours – as were Gayle’s modelling skills.
Arianna Davis, digital director of Oprah magazine, gushed, "Sorry [Mekenzye] but Auntie Gayle might’ve outposed you this time around."
Filmmaker Ava DuVernay also chimed in, posting a trio of celebratory emojis.
