George Clooney bans himself from travelling so he won’t miss the birth of his twins

Cape Town – It’s the final countdown! Amal Clooney is set to welcome twins any day now and George Clooney isn’t leaving her side.

E! News reports the actor opted to stay at home with his wife as they prepare for the arrival of their twins instead of travelling to Yerevan, Armenia for a Humanitarian award ceremony.

In his absence, George addressed the award ceremony of the Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity on Monday night in a video recording.

According to Hollywood Reporter the 56-year-old father-to-be joked about his self-inflicted travel ban saying: “If I came there (Yerevan) and my wife had twins while I was there, I could never come home.”

George confirmed he and Amal are expecting twins in February when he said on the French programme, Rencontres de Cinema: “We are really happy and really excited. It's going to be an adventure.”
