Meghan gave birth to her and Prince Harry's first child together on Monday 6 May, which just so happens to be George's birthday as well.

According to BangShowbiz, the 58-year-old told Entertainment Tonight, "that kind of hurt" before giving his approval of the newborn royal's moniker.

George and his wife Amal are close friends of the royal couple, with Amal even playing a part in planning Meghan's baby shower in New York in February. But according to the Catch-22 actor it would be a "bad idea" to make him the god father of their child.

Speaking to Jimmy Kimmel, George added that he doubts he would be chosen as the royal's godfather anyway.
