Gigi Hadid is 'loving life' with Zayn Malik

Los Angeles - Gigi Hadid is "loving life" since she started seeing Zayn Malik.

The 20-year-old model - who recently split from Joe Jonas - is having a great time with the former One Direction singer, according to her mother Yolanda Foster.

She told Entertainment Tonight: "I haven't met him yet. Gigi's 20 years old, loving life, shopping like she should.

"I haven't met him yet, so I can't say anything about him."

Meanwhile, Zayn Malik is reportedly ''heavily pursuing'' Gigi - but she is ''more ambivalent'' about their romance.

The former One Direction singer is said to be infatuated with her, she is reluctant to get into anything serious and even invited her sister on one of their nights out.

A source said: ''Zayn is slightly besotted with Gigi. He's been the one heavily pursuing her, rather than the other way round.

''He thinks she's stunning and it wouldn't harm his profile to be dating a top US model as he launches his solo career.

''Gigi is slightly more ambivalent. She's aware of Zayn's bad-boy reputation, and is approaching with caution. She even invited her sister Bella on their date to The Nice Guy to encourage Zayn to behave himself.''

According to the insider, one of the reasons why Gigi is hesitant about a relationship with Zayn - who ended his engagement to Perrie Edwards three months ago - is his recent twitter feud with her best friend Taylor Swift's boyfriend Calvin Harris.

However, she is willing to take things slowly and see if she and the singer have a future together.

The source told Britain's Grazia magazine: ''Gigi has reservations about getting serious with Zayn. But at the moment they're just having fun and seeing where it goes.''
