Cape Town - Somali-American model, Halima Aden has broken another boundary in the fashion industry.
Halima has been the first to do many things, including wear a hijab in the Miss Minnesota USA pageant and be the first hijabi model to grace a mainstream magazine.
And now the beauty is the first hijabi model to appear in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue!
Photographed by YuTsai in Kenya, Halima looks stunning while posing on a sandy beach wearing a hijab and burkini.

"We believe beauty knows no boundaries," says SI Swimsuit editor MJ Day about Halima's feature.
"I admire Halima, and I consider her an inspirational human for what she has decided to use her platform for and her work with Unicef as an ambassador."
Speaking about her shoot in a video shared on Instagram, Hamlia say: "This is literally a dream come true…"
The 21-year-old adds how special the moment is to her, saying: "I never really felt represented, because I never could flip through a magazine and see a girl who was wearing a hijab."
