Heidi Klum took to Instagram on Friday to let fans know why you probably won't be seeing her in her America's Got Talent seat any time soon.

Lying in bed, the former supermodel told her 7.1 million followers via Instagram Stories, "It all started with a chill, feeling feverish, cough, runny nose."

"I'm just not feeling good, so that's why I've stayed home to not infect any other people. I hope it's just a cold," she said, looking visibly ill.

The 46-year-old said there aren't any available coronavirus screenings around her for her to get tested, despite feeling sick. So telling fans to "stay safe" she added, "Stay home if you don't feel good."

Though the AGT judge has not yet been tested, A-listers such as Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have revealed they've tested positive for Covid-19, while the virus continues to have a significant impact on the entertainment industry.

Various music festivals have been postponed, while talk shows such as The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Daily Show with Trevor Noah have taken precautions of their own.

As it stands, over 145 000 people have tested positive for the coronavirus worldwide, while over 5 000 have died. In South Africa, 24 people have tested positive for Covid-19.
