Cape Town – Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are totally couple goals, but even they have their fair share of fights from time to time – some even lasting three days, according to the Frozen 2 star.
The 39-year-old revealed to Justin Long on his podcast Life Is Short with Justin Long that their relationship takes work, so they've always said they'd share every aspect of their relationship with the public – "the good, the bad, and the ugly".
"We do fight, we do go to therapy, we dislike each other a lot sometimes," she said, before detailing one of their more recent, "pretty incredible" fights.
"I left a note, and I was like, 'Hey dad! Would you mind taking the two towels in the dryer and folding them and then like one other thing.' I was like that's ten minutes of work, I can say that," she said. The next day, Dax shared he was quite upset about that little note though. "He goes, 'When you leave me notes, I feel really controlled,' and he launched into how he felt about it," Kristen said.
Things got heated between the two. The Good Place actress added, "I don't actually remember what happened, but what transpired was a lot of volume, a lot of harsh words being thrown around, and it was an angry, angry fight about how nobody does anything for anybody else. I grabbed my pillow, and I stomped down the hall, and I sleep in the front room, and I'm crying. We don't talk for three days."
Not even their two kids, Lincoln and Delta, could get them to make up. But Frank did.
"I didn't get an apology, but I got a dog! This is so much better than an apology. So I bring the dog home, it's great," Kristen said.
Kristen and Dax met in 2007 before tying the knot in 2013, though the couple recently revealed they often forget their wedding anniversary after so many years of being happy in love.
"We were reminded by family and friends that at some point last week, it was our 5-year wedding anniversary. In truth, neither of us remember which day. That's because we have been living the celebration of our commitment every moment since," Kristen wrote on Instagram in October.
"I find when you are living with gratitude each moment, the dates become irrelevant. To get to wake up next to someone who has put hard work, respectful fights, patience, understanding and gratitude into your relationship is the definition of love. I will never remember the date of our anniversary @daxshepard, and I know you won't either. And that's just one more thing I love about us."
Kristen later shared a snap of them kissing on their way out of the house when they were reminded "while Frank stood close like a creeper".

While speaking to Justin, Kristen added, "We never talked about that fight ever, but I will say this: Every single thing that I have needed done or thought, 'I'd want help with this,' since that fight, he has been ahead of. I couldn't complain about him if I tried right now."
