Here’s what George Clooney did for Amal on her 40th Birthday

Cape Town - George Clooney is definitely husband goals!

The 56-year-old actor, who’s known for his grand gestures, celebrated his wife Amal’s 40th birthday with a 24-hour trip to the breathtaking coastal region of Big Sur in California, reports US Magazine.

“George took Amal on a private jet from Los Angeles early on Saturday afternoon, on Amal’s birthday, to Big Sur,” an insider told the magazine.

“They were alone and didn’t have the twins with them, and they returned the following day at almost the same time. It was a quick 24-hour getaway for the couple.”

This was Amal’s first birthday since the couple welcomed their now eight-month-old twins, Ella and Alexander, in June last year.

According to People Magazine, the Ocean’s Eleven actor recently opened up about meeting Amal for the first time. The hunk revealed that the human right’s lawyer visited his house with a mutual friend in 2013.

“A mutual friend of ours said, ‘I’m stopping by and can I bring my friend?’” George recalled. “And I was like, ‘Of course!’”

“The funniest thing was my mom and dad were also visiting so my parents were there. And we just talked, we stayed up all night talking.”
