How Leslie Jones got offered to cover the Olympics for NBC

Los Angeles - Leslie Jones has been invited to cover the Olympic Games in Rio, Brazil for NBC.

The Ghostbusters actress caught the attention of the US TV network thanks to her lively tweets about the sporting spectacle. (Read more about that here)

And after a fan suggested her commentary would boost TV ratings and inspire Team USA to win more gold medals, she was asked to join the broadcast team.
