Actor, Idris Elba has tested positive for the coronavirus.
The Luther star posted a video on Twitter on Monday in which he revealed his diagnosis and added that he has been isolated since he found out about his possible exposure to the virus.
He wrote: "This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel okay; I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I'm doing. No panic."
In the video, he also shared that his wife Sabrina Dhowre hasn't been tested, but that she is doing okay.
"Look this is serious, now's the time to really think about social distancing, washing your hands. Beyond that, there are people out there who aren't showing symptoms, and that can easily spread it.
He added: "We've told our families they're very supportive. We've told our colleagues, and you know transparency is probably the best thing for this right now. If you're feeling ill, or you feel like you should be tested or you've been exposed then do something about it."
