Cape Town - American rapper Pusha T - whose real name is Terrence Thornton - is officially a married man after he wedded his long-time girlfriend Virginia Williams in a star-studded ceremony over the weekend.
The wedding – which took place at Cavalier Hotel in Virginia Beach (how romantic?) – was attended by A-list celebrities and friends of the rapper such as Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Trey Songz, The Dream and Pharrell Williams – who was also his Best Man.
Ahead of the wedding Kim posted a snap of herself and Kanye getting ready for the wedding – she was dressed in a gold, body hugging ensemble with a retro phone clutch and Kanye was dressed in black and white suit.
The groom and his groomsmen also kept it simple and wore black and white suits with Pharrell choosing to style his by rolling his pants up to his ankles.
The bride also looked elegant in her two gowns, the first being a Marchesa gown with a plunging neckline and the reception gown – a figure hugging dress designed by Reem Acra.
In an exclusive interview with Brides, Virginia explained why the date of their wedding had a special significance for them as a couple.
“For whatever reason, I see the number 721 almost every day in crazy places. On 7/21/16 Terrence had me believing he was in LA, but popped up at our home in Bethesda,” she told the outlet. “He told me to meet him on our rooftop terrace…when I did he was on one knee and asked me to marry him at 7:21 pm! I said yes!” she said.
